Grilled Sardines

Ingredients

(Serves 1)
1 slice crusty bread
¼ avocado
Canned sardines – your choice of flavour
¼ cup grated cheese
Pinch cracked pepper
Lightly toast bread.
Spread avocado on bread, add sardines and sprinkle cheese over the top.
Place under grill until cheese is melted.
Remove and add cracked pepper.
Note:
A twist of lemon tastes great with plain sardines, and you may like to add cherry tomatoes for some extra colour and flavour.
