What to expect
The Waterhole precinct is located halfway round the Zoo circuit. Home to a stunning outdoor café overlooking a Barbary Sheep herd, The waterhole is sure to be a popular stop during your Zoo adventure!
Order a coffee, snack or tasty treat from the café and enjoy next to our beautiful Meerkat habitat. The kids will love the interactive Meerkat tunnel and pop up window bringing them eye to eye with the busy Meerkat mob.
They’ll also love the love the water play area featuring animal sculptures and automated water jets.
The Waterhole is a must do on your visit to Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
