With three young calves the elephant exhibit is always a hive of activity.
All three are growing fast and learning how to become part of the herd.
You can see our female elephants and their calves right throughout the day and if you can’t see them in the upper paddock, check the lower paddock or the elephant barn.
We recommend that you check at the information centre on arrival to the Zoo to find out the most current information on the day of your visit.
To get the most from seeing our elephant herd together, catch the keeper talk and play session at 1pm. These talks are the best way to learn more about the individuals in our herd as well as some general and conservation facts about Asian elephants.
