Don't forget to invite the Zoo to your do - An amazing collection of animals is sure to add life and excitement to any function.
What is involved?
Depending on the nature of your function we have four formats available for hire:
- Roving Meet & Greet
Discovery Officers roam with hand held animals for guests and delegates to meet and touch.
- Animal Presentation
Presentations can be delivered on a range of topics or tailor made according to your audience.
- Animal Display
Animals are displayed under our marquee for visitors to meet at their leisure. Animals are taken out in turn to allow close encounters and touching where appropriate.
- Animal Display & Presentation
This package combines animal presentations with animal displays. This ensures visitors are able to meet the animals up close and also ask individual questions following the presentation.
What animals will we see?
While we cannot guarantee animal availability for a specific day, we will try and accommodate special requests where possible.
The St George Zoomobile brings a selection of native animals to each event from the following: Bearded dragon, Shingleback lizard, Blue tongue lizard, Green tree frog, Phasmid, Short necked turtle, Diamond python, Carpet python, Children's python, Salt water crocodile, Galah, Gang gang cockatoo, Tawny frogmouth, Ring tail possum, Long nosed bandicoot, Tortoise and Echidna.
How long is the booking?
Zoomobiles are available for bookings between 1 and 3 hours in duration. Please note, however, that in extreme weather conditions some animals may need to be taken off show.
Planning for the day (animal displays)
We provide our own tables, marquee and animal exhibits.
When planning the positioning of the Zoomobile, it is helpful to consider that we may be arriving after and leaving before other stalls. An ideal position for the Zoomobile is within close proximity to an access road under any available shade.
Please reserve an area of approx 3m x 3m for the marquee and 5m x 4m directly behind this for the van.
How much does it cost?
The cost of a Zoomobile visit will depend on the booking length, size of the event, and location. We recommend contacting a Zoomobile Coordinator for full details on pricing and availability.
How much notice do you need to make a booking?
We prefer to have at least two weeks notice for all Zoomobile visits. However, for specific dates, we recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
We are located outside the Sydney Metropolitan region. Can you visit us?
Zoomobiles are able to attend functions outside of the Sydney region. Please note that events located outside of the Sydney Metropolitan area will incur additional costs.
How should we pay?
Payment must be made prior to the event. Payment details are sent once a successful booking has been made
How do we make a booking?
You can check the availability from the St George Zoomobile page of this website. Complete and return the booking form with your details and preferred dates to our St George Zoomobile coordinator. An event quote will then be prepared for you.
