QBE Free Flight Bird Show
Check out our soaring stars of the sky!
Many interesting and unusual birds feature in our amazing bird show. Among a few of our favourites are ...
Angus Angus, a rare Rufous Owl, gives one lucky member of the audience a very close-up experience when he lands right on their glove.
Jack Jack, a Wedge-tailed Eagle, with the largest wingspan of any Australian bird of prey, will take your breath away as he shows off his majesty and power.
Jacob Jacob, a Long-Billed Corella parrot, was given to the Zoo after being given up on by his owners as a naughty bird with a lot of problems. He now does a fantastic job helping his human friends entertain the crowds while they explain what you need to be aware of if you think a parrot is the right pet for you.
Boo Boo, a Barking Owl and very powerful hunter, always has everyone ducking for cover.

Billy Billy, a Brolga, is one of Australia's largest flying birds. Every now and then he decides to have a dance on stage - a beautiful sight to see.
