For Gold and Silver ticketed events entry is from 6.00pm via the Zoo’s Main Entrance Gate. NYE tickets do not allow access to the Zoo prior to 6.00pm. Access to the Zoo will be on presentation of your Gold or Silver tickets issued to you by Ticketek.
(If you are planning to visit the Zoo during the day you will need to exit the premises at 4.00pm when the Zoo closes to the public and re-enter at 6.00pm. Normal admission fees will apply during the day.)
Gold Reserve tickets entitles guests to park on site at Taronga Zoo in the main Zoo car park, entrance off Bradley’s Head Road. You will be sent a car park voucher with your gold tickets (one per transaction). A number of police roadblocks will operate to control access to Taronga Zoo and the Sydney Harbour foreshore areas. Access through these roadblocks will require this car park ticket. Gold reserve ticket holders are also welcome to use the Shuttle Bus service provided from Spit Junction.
Silver Reserve ticket holders can access complimentary parking at either Vista Street car park (entry off Vista Street) or Bridgepoint car park (entry off Horden Drive) in Spit Junction. The Shuttle Bus service to and from the Zoo will pick up guests from the rear of Mosman Council, The Crescent, Mosman and will begin service at 5.00pm. This shuttle bus will continue to do trips to and from the Zoo throughout the evening, leaving regularly from the Main Entrance of the Zoo approximately 2.00am. Please note that your vehicle can remain in either of these car parks until 3.00am at the latest. If you have purchased a car space on site for the additional fee you will be sent a car park voucher with your tickets.
Please note: There may be delays upon exit for cars and the shuttle transport to Spit Junction following the midnight firework display due to the heavy volume of traffic from the City. We appreciate your understanding.

For the Silver area the following will be for sale; BBQ items, ice creams, wraps, sandwiches, snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages including beer, wine and sparkling by the bottle and glass. The Taronga Food Market located near the Gold section will be open to all NYE patrons offering, Pizza, Asian Noodles, Burgers & hot chips, fresh sandwiches, meat pies, sausage rolls, wraps and salads as well as alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
Animal Exhibits Open until 7.30pm include Reptile World, Platypus Pools, Rainforest Aviary, Platypus House and Kangaroo Walkthrough. In addition Giraffes and Spider Monkeys, Lions and Tigers (until dark) will be on display.
Come prepared for this outdoor event with appropriate weather protection gear, the event will still proceed if raining. No refunds are available. Ponchos, coats and hats are preferable to umbrellas.
