Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo is closed today, Sunday 12 February 2017, due to the extreme weather conditions.


The decision to close the Zoo was made yesterday, in the interests of public safety and in consultation with emergency services. The safety and welfare of staff, guests and the animals in our care is our utmost priority.


The Zoo is expected to re-open and resume normal operations tomorrow, Monday 13 February, as the weather is expected to ease.
