Beads for Wildlife takes off

In just one short week, the Beads for Wildlife campaign has already generated a lot of interest with many visitors keen to purchase a piece of beadwork knowing that it will support communities and wildlife in Northern Kenya.Beads for Wildlife is a colourful range of beadwork such as bracelets, necklaces and key rings made by women in Northern Kenya.  The women make the beadwork as an alternative income source to livestock so that means there is less pressure on resources such as food and water, so there is more for wildlife which allows them to flourish. So basically that means more beads = less livestock = more wildlife, who can argue with that!
