Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s new overnight accommodation experience, Billabong Camp, is officially open!Member for Dubbo Troy Grant MP cut the ribbon on 11 April, as staff, media and invited guests gathered to check out the new facility, which consists of 25 permanent camp sites located around a picturesque billabong in the Zoo’s Australian wildlife area.The Zoo welcomed its first Billabong Camp guests on Saturday, 13 April, and every night since!Billabong Camp is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, with additional nights offered during NSW school holiday periods.Find out more about the experience.
