These school holidays the Zoo Adventurers have gone undercover as their favourite goblins, elves, fairies and trolls to track down the dragon that has been hiding out in the Zoo.

The children visited enchanted animals hiding out amongst the usual residents at Taronga Western Plains Zoo. These mythical beasts told fairy tales from their native countries, to help find the truth about the dragon!

After making treasure boxes, juggling balls and gingerbread men, the children went under the final transformation, having their faces painted as their favourite enchanted creature. The kids had a great time, as did all of the staff and Youth at the Zoo volunteers making the props and creating the story.

Zoo Adventures is a school holiday program that provides children with the opportunity to experience the Zoo in different ways.  It is a fun and exciting program that has the kids talking about it to their friends when they return to school.
