Researchers from Taronga and the University of NSW are looking for participants to take part in a focus group about visitor experiences at zoos.

Participants will be invited to express their opinions on questions regarding visitor experiences, with a particular focus on the outcomes of interactions with zoo animals and conservation issues.

“Taronga has a proud history of conducting high quality conservation, behaviour, and welfare research and the information we get from these focus groups will be used to better understand our visitors and their needs, whilst ensuring the highest quality care for our animals,” said Taronga’s Postdoctoral Research Fellow Dr Caralyn Kemp.

The focus groups will take place at Taronga Zoo on the Saturday, 21 January or Sunday, 22 January for two hours. Participants need to be aged 18 or over.
