Helping a Unique Australian Return Home

Helping a Unique Australian Return Home

Thank you for your support to protect Australia's unique and fascinating Platypus.

Because of you and your kind-hearted gifts we were able to raise a phenomenal $282,680 (including $180k in matched giving gifts) for the precious Platypus. Amazing!

Thanks to you, ten critical Platypus will soon be undergoing their last health checks and released in the coming months into the Royal National Park in NSW.

The Platypus once thrived in the Royal National Park but sadly has not been sighted in the park since the 1970’s.

But because of your kind generosity they will soon be able to once again call the area their home. Thank you!

And there is even more good news for the Platypus, our conservation centres are in the final planning stages.

That means we are underway in creating the world’s first platypus research and breeding centres which will help this vulnerable and unique species.

This has been a mammoth effort which could not have been achieved without supporters like yourself. Stay tuned as we keep you updated on the build as it happens!

With these amazing gifts you have helped ensure the Platypus will be protected and have a future for generations to come and for that we thank you.
