Eye-to-eye
Meet a Keeper and head behind the scenes to come eye-to-eye with a Sumatran Tiger. You’ll feed the Tiger whilst learning all about this critically endangered species and its plight in the wild.
Bookings
Bookings are available online. Places are limited and bookings are essential.
Tiger Encounter tickets exclude Zoo admission. Tickets to Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo can be purchased separately online prior to your visit.
Guest requirements:
• Guests must be able to walk a 500m distance
• Sturdy, enclosed footwear is required

Did you know?
The stripes of a Sumatran Tiger are much closer together than in other tiger species which helps them to camouflage. The pattern of stripes is unique to each animal.
