    An immersive overnight educational experience where students stay at the Zoo to learn about animals and how they can help protect wildlife.

    $90 per student
    (minimum of 20 students required)

    Mondays - Thursdays during NSW school term dates. Alternative dates can be negotiated. 

Stay overnight at the Zoo

ZooSnooz at Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo is an unforgettable overnight adventure where students immerse themselves in wildlife after dark. Set within the picturesque Billabong Camp, the program includes dinner overlooking the billabong, a nocturnal walking tour, and supper under the stars.

Students wake to the sounds of the Zoo and enjoy a morning walking tour before exploring the Zoo circuit.  This program helps students connect with incredible wildlife, while learning about conservation in a fun, authentic and outdoor learning environment.

What to expect

  • Explore the Zoo on a night walk and early morning walk

  • Enjoy dinner and breakfast

  • Fall alseep to the sounds of wildlife at the campsite

  • Continue the adventure with Zoo entry the following day

Cancellation fee - within 30 days of visit** $500.00
Cancellation fee - within 14 days of visit** 100% of total cost
Linen hire for student bedding (optional) $15.00 per student

*Extra adult numbers must be negotiated at the time of booking.

**All cancellations must be notified in writing to education@zoo.nsw.gov.au as soon as possible. 

No refunds will be given to students or adults who do not attend on the day

Maximum number of attendees (including adults) is 90.
