Study Animal Care online and at your own pace with Taronga Training Institute’s brand-new online course. ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal Care is the foundation for anyone interested in pursuing a career with animals such as dog grooming, animal training, Veterinary care or Zoo Keeping.

This veterinary professional development course has been created as part of the NSW Koala Strategy. The course is aimed at veterinarians and veterinary nurses and focused at improving the knowledge and skills of veterinary staff related to wildlife triage, first aid, treatment and care.

Taronga Zoo Sydney offers workshops, tours and lectures tailored to complement tertiary study. During a 90 minute workshop, lecture or tour, participants will learn about issues at the heart of Taronga’s mission and experience the Zoo from a whole new perspective.
