Life on the Savannah
Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Northern Kenya as you explore Taronga’s African Savannah.
In this expansive, multi-species habitat, watch the Lion pride survey their kingdom, gaze across ‘The Waterhole’ where Giraffes, Zebras and Ostriches roam together and discover smaller desert dwellers, such as the cheeky Meerkats and the Fennec Foxes. You'll also meet our troop of 21 Chimpanzees, each with their own unique personalities as they climb and play with each other all day long.
The African Savannah habitat area also offers sweeping harbour views and up-close moments with some of the Africa's most iconic wildlife.
