Prepare your best Halloween costume and join us for a spooky, fun-filled morning at Taronga Western Plains Zoo! 

Groove at the Monster Mash Disco, join in the Costume Parade, catch a special Keeper Talk and enjoy all the family-friendly fun on offer in the Zoo’s Savannah Plaza. There’s prizes for best dressed, surprise giveaways during the event and more to explore! 

Trick or Treat bags will be available for purchase on the day while stocks last and Cafe Wild will be serving up Halloween themed treats and drinks. 

What's happening?

  • 8.30am – 4.30pm: Cafe Wild and Zoo Shop 
  • 9.00am – 4.00pm: Boo at the Zoo Trail on the Zoo Circuit
  • 11.00am – 3.00pm: Monster Mash Disco and Festival Hub
  • 11.30am: Ring-Tailed Lemur Keeper Talk and Q&A 
  • 12.30pm – 1.00pm: Spider Monkey Feed and Keeper Talk
  • 1.30pm: Best Halloween Costume Parade and Prizes
