Getting to the Zoo

Taronga Zoo Sydney is located on Bradleys Head Road in Mosman, right on Sydney Harbour and easily accessible from the Sydney CBD by ferry, car or bus.

12 minute ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 4
30 minute bus (Route 100) from QVB, City
Paid parking at the Zoo - 90 minutes free

As well as being home to our animals, Taronga Zoo Sydney offers a range of visitor facilities including cafés, picnic areas, free WiFi, parent rooms, public bathrooms and first aid.

You can find each of these facilities on our Zoo map, along with the location of all of your favourite animals. 

A Zoo with a Sydney Harbour view

Taronga Zoo Sydney overlooks some of the most breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour. The Zoo spans 28 hectares of beautifully landscaped and hilly terrain, creating a unique environment where winding paths and leafy walkways lead you from one amazing animal encounter to the next. Some areas can be steep, so we encourage comfortable footwear and a sense of adventure as you explore.
