This summer, with silly season in full swing, we've got 5 family-friendly activities to keep you entertained. From free Christmas-themed activites, to live music events - here's 5 activities you can enjoy at Taronga Zoo this summer.
Christmas Concert at Taronga
Our Christmas concert on December 16th is a highlight of the season for all ages. Our wonderful live entertainment takes place on the concert lawns overlooking Sydney Harbour (stunning sunset almost guaranteed). Plus, rumour has it Santa himself will be making an appearance!

Date: Saturday 16 December
Location: Taronga Zoo Concert Lawns
Cost: $29 for adults, $24 for kids - children under 4 are free!
Taronga's New Year's Eve Event
New Year's Eve at Taronga is the perfect New Year's Event for families, couples or groups of friends to enjoy a night amongst nature, live music and entertainment AND food and drinks that are available on site. There's a variety of food options, as well as a bar and coffee for those who just want to snuggle up on their picnic blanket and enjoy the show.
With four different ticket options in various locations around the Zoo, this New Year's event is a great option for everyone.

Date: Sunday, 31 December
Location: Depending on your ticket, the event takes place across four locations in the Zoo including the Concert Lawns, Amphitheatre, Harbour View Lawns and Taronga Function Centre.
Cost: From $225 for adults, children from $115 - kids under 4 get in for free!
It's festival season! Summer concerts that will be music to your ears
Twilight at Taronga is a summer concert series with a massive line-up including big names like Meg Mac, Emma Memma, The Waifs, Ball Park Music and The Cat Empire. Watch these iconic Australian artists with the sun setting over Sydney Harbour as the backdrop. Need we say more?
Plus, if you're looking for summer activities for the kids - Twilight welcomes the littlies with kid-friendly 'Lil' Twilight' shows at 10am.
Be quick though, with John Butler and others already sold out - these shows are going fast.
