Help Name Taronga Zoo’s Long-nosed Fur Seal Pup!

Late last year, Taronga welcomed an adorable new arrival with a Long-nosed Fur Seal pup born to mum Keke. The pup is delighting keepers and growing well but we need your help to name her!

While it’s a big decision, our marine mammal keepers have come up with three great suggestions:

  • Birubi – an Indigenous name meaning ‘Southern Cross’
  • Millicent (Milli) – the name of a beach in SA
  • Eden – the name of a coastal town in NSW

To make your choice, simply fill out the entry form below, choose from one of the three names provided and tell us why in 25 words or less why you think that name suits our latest arrival.

Ten lucky people who help us choose the pup’s name will win a family pass to Taronga Zoo Sydney valued at $152.

Competition closes Sunday 14 February 2021 at 11:59PM (AEDT).
