We're working towards a positive future for wildlife and this means that sometimes there could be closures or works ongoing that may impact your experience. We understand there is never a good time to build a better Zoo, however the work we are investing in is to improve our animal habitats and deliver experiences that influence positive behaviour change to support the future of our wildlife.
- Waterplay area at the Waterhole precinct - will be closed until Wednesday 23 March 2022. Cafe and animal exhibits are open.
- Second Cheetah exhibit - located near the Galapagos Tortoise will be closed until further notice.
- Greater One-horned Rhino - Mother and calf will be off display until Friday 18 March 2022.
- Tasmanian Devils - We are creating a new habitat for Tasmanian Devils in our Australian section, near the Aussie Walkthrough, on track for opening for the NSW school holidays.
To ensure guest and staff safety, the experience has slightly changed. Find out more about how we're keeping you safe and what changes this involves.
